International Day of the girl Song contest 2022
In recognition of International Day of the Girl, Future Youth Records and FL Studio are holding a music production contest focused on empowering girls. The contest is open to girls ages 13-17. The winning song will be released on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major retailers on October 11, 2022. All rights remain with the winner.
Judging criteria will be based on several factors including production quality, lyrical content, song structure, and alignment to the contest theme. One winner will be announced on or around August 1, 2022.
The winner will receive FREE production support from FYR and its partners, promotional support from FYR and FL Studio, and global distribution of their song. The winner and four-runner-ups will each receive FREE lifetime licenses of FL Studio ALL Plugins Edition and acceptance into FYR’s artist development program.

Requirements
Only songs written by girls aged 13-17 at the time of submission will be considered.
All entries must be produced by the contestant using FL Studio or FL Studio Mobile*. This will be verified if selected.
Songs must be related to empowering girls.
We only accept unreleased songs.
Demos must be submitted through a private Soundcloud link and include the full lyrics of the song in the description section. If the song is in a language other than English, we will need a translation of your lyrics to English. If your song is instrumental, please write some concept lyrics that fit the contest theme and include them with your submission.
*If you do not already have your own FL Studio license, download the Time Unlimited Free Trial of FL Studio here. Users of the free trial can export the music they create, with the only limitation being that they cannot reopen previously saved projects. Alternatively, the affordable FL Studio Mobile app is another great option.
