THE STORY

What is this project?

The news cycle moves fast. Justice doesn't.

When the Epstein files resurfaced, the world had a moment of collective outrage and then, as it always does, moved on. But the survivors didn't get to move on. They never do.

Future Youth Records is partnering with powerhouse youth artist Kate Grahn to write and release a definitive anthem for the people the news cycle moved past. The victims of Epstein and his network deserve more than a trending topic. They deserve allies who aren't going anywhere.

In Her Own Words:

"We were all up in arms, donating, and marching in the streets when the media was showing ICE brutally harass, kidnap, and kill innocent people. Although the media cycle has mostly dropped that subject, the grotesque and barbaric acts still occur. This is true about many sociopolitical events.

In my song STAIN, I wrote about the heartbreak and injustice I felt toward those affected by ICE, even though I couldn't truly know what it was like to stand in their shoes. I do know what it is like, however, to be silenced for daring to speak up. That experience, in a completely different magnitude, gave me a thread I could pull.

Because what was done to these survivors wasn't just physical. It was the systematic erasure of their voices. The discrediting. The burial. That's a weapon I recognize, even if I've only felt a fraction of its weight. Unfortunately, most, if not all women recognize that weapon. Absolutely no justice has been served for the victims and very little media coverage is taking place. They deserve people who aren't going anywhere."
