Felix Cavaliere is one of the defining voices of the sixties. As co-founder, lead vocalist, principal songwriter, and keyboardist of The Rascals, he helped shape a generation with songs like “Good Lovin’,” “Groovin’,” “People Got to Be Free,” “A Beautiful Morning,” and “Ray of Hope.” A rare artist inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Grammy Hall of Fame, and the Musicians Hall of Fame, Felix continues to perform and record with a message centered on a better world.
Future Youth Records is producing a landmark new recording of "Ray of Hope," the anthem co-written by Felix Cavaliere and originally recorded by The Rascals. Written in the heart of the civil rights era, its message of unity, tolerance, and peace remains as urgent today as it was then.
For this new version, Felix will mentor four to five of the country's finest young singer-songwriters as they join him on vocals, backed by an all-star session band. The performance will be filmed for the official "Ray of Hope" music video at a top Los Angeles studio in late September or early October 2026, with release planned for February 20, 2027 — World Day of Social Justice. And a small group of supporters will be there to witness it.
