Felix Cavaliere is heading back into the studio in Los Angeles — and you can be part of it.

Felix Cavaliere is one of the defining voices and musicians of the sixties. As co-founder, lead vocalist, main songwriter, and keyboardist of The Rascals, he helped shape a generation with songs like “Good Lovin’,” “Groovin’,” “People Got to Be Free,” “Beautiful Morning,” and “Ray of Hope.” A rare artist with inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriter Hall of Fame, Grammy Hall of Fame, and Musicians Hall of Fame, Felix continues to perform and record with a message centered on a better world.

Future Youth Records is producing a landmark new recording of “Ray of Hope,” the classic anthem co-written by Felix Cavaliere and originally recorded by The Rascals. Written in the heart of the civil rights era, the song’s message of unity, tolerance, and peace remains as relevant today as ever. 

For this version of the legendary song, Felix will mentor 4-5 of the country's finest young singer-songwriters as they join him on vocals, backed by an all-star session band. You will have the opportunity to witness the joy and inspiration of this cross-generational pairing that will take place in a top Los Angeles recording studio between late September and early October 2026, with release planned for February 20, 2027, World Day of Social Justice.
